Try this simpler path.
Use a cheap USB video grabber that advertises UVC support and plug the camera’s AV or HDMI output into it. Then plug the grabber into your Mac with a direct USB‑C adapter. macOS sees the grabber as a standard webcam, no special drivers.
Open QuickTime, choose New Movie Recording, pick the grabber as the camera. If QuickTime shows video, your apps like Zoom or Meet will too.
This avoids flaky camera USB modes and odd drivers.
